Mandi + Riley

Riley and Mandi were married this Spring in the LDS Newport Beach Temple and Flour and Flower Designs went all out to make their day extra special. We were super excited to work with her photographer Blush Photography --who is seriously the ultimate in not just capturing moments, but showing all the emotion and magic that makes them amazing. (WARNING: you will be obsessed.)
We packed this post full of her images so you can gawk at all the pretty, lovely, beautiful images too.

One thing many things we LOVE about Mandi is her sense of style. We couldn't wait to make her the flower halo she wore on her wedding day. We wove wax flower, silver brunia, hypericum berries, faux gold berries, green eyed roses, lysianthus and scabiosa pod around a wreath of myrtle leaves and topped it off with the prettiest David Austin blush pink "Juliet" garden rose. Perfect!

Every inch of the day looked like it was completely coordinated, even the some of the guests! We loved how Mandi's best girls came out to support her dressed in her wedding colors (above). Bridesmaids (below) wore blush pink sparkly skirts with creamy tops. love the flower girl babies breath halo -- so sweet.

Mandi's flowers were so beautiful. We used garden roses (David Austin "Juliet" & "Patience", Alabaster, green eyed- roses, various succulents (echevaria) majolica spray roses, stock, china mums, wax flower, scabosia pods, scabosia, sweet pea, and more.. oh and we incorporated little gold faux berries where ever we could... so pretty.

Cake! Cake! Cake! It couldnt be just one! Mandi needed more cake. (She didn't really, but we thought she did. Mostly because we wanted to make it really memorable and yummy) .

The entry table was one of my favorite details of the reception held at the Dove Canyon Courtyard. Mandi created little custom cards for her guests to write a message on and we clipped them to twine strung across the old windows and antique doors. It was absolutely adorable with the many well-wishes strung across it.

Our ever creative bride painted and distressed the mailbox herself for wedding cards.
Mandi and Riley had two designs that Flour and Flower Designs was glad to create for their quest tables. Half the tables were blush pink and white flowers in hob-nailed mason jars (love the light coming through the bumps on the jars above) and the other half was small flower groupings in miss-match glass, square french jars, milk glass vases and gold bottles, all set set on burlap runners.

This distressed little blush dresser gave us the chance to add some of Mandi's style to the venue. We strung coordinating bunting from glass drawer pulls and topped it off with a bright gold scrolly frame with pictures in frames the bride provided. The produce basket (bottom right corner) was filled to the brim with flowers and succulents.
Flour and Flower Designs created this cute-as-can-be photo display for the new couple so they could share pictures of their courtship with their wedding guests. The bride painted all the tiny clothespins gold, so they coordinated perfectly.
Mandi's mom and all her friends lit the evening with mason jars they'd collected and place all around the venue. I think they ended up with over 100. No joke. That is a lot of work!
Details! Details! Details!

The bride herself created the cute banners hung around the venue in the font she loved. It really added a personal touch and turned out so cute. Here is the "just married" banner that she strung across the sweetheart table.

A special shout out to Brooke of Blush photography. Your work is absolutely stunning and we will continue stalking you on facebook and singing your praises though you are based in Utah. (you'll travel, right?) https://www.facebook.com/Blushbyb
It makes such a huge difference when you have a photographer who really cares and takes the time to get to know your clients and make them look as amazing as they feel on their day. It truly is a gift.
