San Clemente Wedding Sweets



Need something sweet? How 'bout a little nibble for your eyes of this weekend's sweet treats.

Flour and Flower Designs set up another amazingly beautiful and delicious dessert bar for a San Clemente bride and groom (and their very luck guests!) Desserts included: lemon merengue tarts, chocolate chip cookies, frosted sugar cookies, ganache crunch ball double brownies, frosted lemon bars and french macaroons.

I am always amazed at how much difference there is between a professional photographer and my own shots of our work.

Sneak Peek {Brooke + Brendon}

I am sorry! But I couldn't wait!
I don't have an official picture of the bride and groom yet--who is as equally good-looking as his bride, I can assure  you-- but I had to include this picture of Brooke and her little sister out side the temple. They look flawless, and so does the rest of the family. Um....Aren't they gorgeous?

The reception was held in the club house at the Aliso Viejo Conference Center, and despite the last minute changes and the running around to find flowers that would work in the bride's palette , it all turned out beautifully.


Glass, murcury glass and milk glass containers.

 The bride swapped out some of the traditional guest rounds for an extra long head table which we filled with mixed flowers in varying containers.

 Guest tables had a collection of containers in small groupings, surrounded by votives and extra candles that the family placed around the centerpieces to create a romantic glow.


 Desserts are always a big deal for us and we wanted to create something special for the bride and groom. 


Flower and Flower Designs was happy to create some yummy custom sweets for Brooke and Brendon. They had a traditional three layer wedding cake, an amazing carrot bundt cake, mini meyer lemon bundt cakes, individual baby strawberry shortcakes trifles, two dessert cakes and coconut mini cupcakes.
